SMALL GROUP

LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR FAITH COMMUNITY

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

ABOUT SMALL GROUPS

A Quick Review

Our Sunday meeting provides us the opportunity to worship and learn together as a big family in Christ. However, meeting in Small Groups during the week provides additional opportunities for spiritual growth, mutual support, and developing close relationships with other believers.

You don’t want to miss the blessings of attending or hosting a Small Group!

THE C.M.D. APPROACH

Creating and leading a small group doesn’t have to be complicated. We are supporters of a very simplistic approach of managing small groups that we call C.M.D.:

C stands for Community
M stands for Mission
D stands for Discipleship

This method is based on Acts 2:42-47 which is filled with examples of how CMD was used at the time of the apostles: the breaking of bread, communion, fellowshipping, prayers, teaching, studying, healing, miracles, …

Here are few examples of how it applies in today’s context:

COMMUNITY

  • Walk in the park and spend time together to admire the creation.
  • Bowling fun night to enjoy each others.
  • Watch a video series featuring a particular speaker with a leader’s guide of study questions.

MISSION

  • Reach out to the local community by distributing free gospels.
  • Recruit non-believers for a soccer competition and have an evening out to celebrate the event.
  • Organize a free hug day for people in the street.

DISCIPLESHIP

  • Plan to read the Bible cover to cover.
  • Learn about a theme of the Bible with topical Bible.
  • Study life of Jesus with Red Letters.

PURPOSE OF SMALL GROUPS

another

Here is why you should consider joining and/or leading a small group:
